Fisher Price Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Set Plus Movie

My 5-year-old was blessed to ride a Thomas train a few years ago, and now being able to review Thomas & Friends DVD, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure and Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Shipwreck Rails Set was an early Christmas gift for both of them.

I will admit that the entire family was extremely happy to be able to see the latest Thomas & Friends TrackMaster set (we have a few of them) and watch the latest Thomas & Friend movie too. Thomas & Friends is one brand I have enjoyed and personally owned, I am happy to share this review with you all!

Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Shipwreck Rails Set

This latest TrackMaster set retails for $59.99 and the age recommend is 3+ years. This track is available at Wal-Mart. This latest rail set is inspired by the Thomas & Friends DVD, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure and it captures all the adventures of the movie. When my boys first saw the box, I loved hearing them say “Is it Christmas?” My 5 year old wondered why he got his Christmas surprise early. Seeing how happy and excited they were was priceless! PRICELESS!

My boys were able to play with the Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Shipwreck Rails Set and watch the movie Thomas & Friends™ DVD, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure at the same time. This happened more than once; they are in love with the set and the movie!

As I write this review, my 3-year-old is playing with the train set with his older brother. They love the thrilling and jaw-dropping play as Thomas climbs a long and steep incline and plunges toward the deck.

This makes Thomas turn upside-down as he speeds along the spiral track and reaches the bottom. When he reaches the bottom, he discovers the lost treasure. The treasure then falls into the back of Thomas and the toy train lands at the bottom.

This is my sons’ favorite part when Thomas goes down the spiral track! Their faces say it all! Since we also own other Thomas and Friends TrackMaster, they are in heaven.

This track is easy to assemble and doesn’t require any tools. You are only going to need 2 AAA batteries and you are good to go. Now if you have 2 excited boys watching the process of it being assembled, they may jump in and ‘help’ you along!

Retail Prices for Thomas & Friends: Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure – The Movie varies per DVD style. DVD Blu-Ray Combo retails for $26.99 and $19.99 for regular DVD. This movie is not rated and is available at Wal-Mart. My boys were excited about this movie, especially my 5-year-old who loves Thomas & Friends movies. He was very curious, and while the tracks were being assembled, insisted on me to put the movie on so we could watch it.

This latest Thomas & Friend movie has Thomas and his friends unearthing an old pirate ship and makes this movie their most daring adventure yet. You will meet new friends and find out what kind of trouble Thomas will find himself into.

The voice cast for Thomas & Friends: Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure includes Eddie Redmayne, Sir John Hurt, and Olivia Colman. If your child loves Thomas and Friends, I will tell you that this latest Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Shipwreck Rails Set will keep their attention and imagination going. It will not disappoint.
