Cold weather brings a lot of indoor togetherness and that brings germs and illness. It is really annoying that we are fighting the cold temperatures and sometimes we are fighting real temperatures, LOL. Luckily I know what to do when sick gets real this winter. I stock my cabinet with everything I need to keep my kids comfortable when they aren't feeling good.

Keep The Cabinet Stocked and Ready

Kids seem to be fine one minute and sick the next. The last thing I want to do is drag a sick child out for a run to the store for supplies. It is always better to be prepared and ready when the cold weather and illnesses hit.

I love how the pediatric brands of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare are there with there for me with three solutions to help tackle some of the ickiest symptoms my kids get when they are sick. Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin® and Children’s Dimetapp® are great solutions for helping my children with different symptoms they may be having.

Ease Aches and Pains Plus Reduce Fevers

I have had enough fevers in my lifetime to know how horrible I feel with one. It is hard to watch my kids have a fever and the aches and pains that go along with it. Luckily I have Children’s Advil®on hand to help ease those aches and pains while reducing their fever fast. This is a great solution for children from 2 to 11 years old.

As a mom I like that Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors.  I don't have to fight my kids when I give them the medicine because the flavors are tasty.

For my youngest blessing I use Infants’ Advil® White Grape. This provides my little one with unsurpassed fever relief (among OTC pain relievers) and it has a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.

Cough & Congestion Relief is Important for Rest

No one gets any sleep if the kids are congested and coughing all day and night. Mommy doesn't like to be sleep deprived!

Children's Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack is formulated just for children (Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion for ages 4+ and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough for ages 6+).  The non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up my kid's chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves their coughs and runny noses to help them get the rest they need….so that mom can get some rest too, LOL!

Runny & Stuffy Noses are No Fun

Wiping noses…wiping noses…little red, sore noses.  It is just no fun with my kids have stuffy and runny noses!!  Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough for ages 6+ tackles my kid's most worst stuffy and runny noses and it helps relieve their cough too!

I keep nice soft tissues in convenient places around the house so we are ready to wipe noses when needed. We also work on learning how to blow our noses for those toddlers!

Plenty of Cuddles

One of things I do when sick gets real is to CUDDLE, CUDDLE, CUDDLE. Kids want their parents when they don't feel well. I try to forget about the housework that is waiting on me and just cuddle with my kids.
