- Evaporated milk
- Sweetened condensed milk

How to make Instant Pot Pumpkin Flan
Now that you have gathered your ingredients, it is time to make Instant Pot Pumpkin Flan. All you have to do is follow the steps below:
Prepare the caramel
Using a medium saucepan, add the sugar and heat over medium heat. Don’t get the heat too high, or you will burn the sugar and have to start over.
- Continue to stir the sugar while it is heating until it gets brown. It’s important to keep the sugar moving so it doesn’t burn.
- The sugar will continue to darken until it turns into caramel.
- Pour the caramel into the flan pan.
Make the custard
- Blend the rest of the ingredients into a blender and mix until the mixture looks creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add 1 ½ cups of water inside the Instant Pot pot and add the steam rack.
- Pour the flan mixture into the flan pan and cover. The cover will keep the water out of the pan.
- Place the pan inside the Instant Pot.
- Add the lid and close the valve.
- Press the Manual or Pressure Cooker button, high for 30 minutes, and natural release.
- Carefully remove the pan from inside the Instant Pot and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Once chilled, run a knife along the edge of the pan and then place a plate on top. Hold the plate in place and quickly flip the two over so the flan releases onto the plate.

Notes
Depending on the IP flan mold you use, you might not be able to use all of your flan mixtures.
However, you can split this, make two, and set the pressure time to 20 minutes.
I used a deep flan mold to create this flan.
