How do you eat a cocoa bomb?
Place your cocoa bomb in the bottom of a mug and pour hot milk over the top. The milk will melt outside the bomb, and the cocoa mix and other goodies will rise to the top. Stir until the chocolate and cocoa mix is dissolved, and enjoy.
Can you just eat a cocoa bomb?
Technically, yes, but it’s going to be really dry with the cocoa mix inside. So if you want, you could leave the cocoa mix out of the middle and just have the marshmallows and candy bars inside. It would be a nice little treat.
Can I use something else if I can’t find Mint Kit Kat bars?
Yes. A great substitute would be Andes Mints. Of course, you wouldn’t have the wafer, but you’ll still have the great chocolate and mint combo. You could also chop up Thin Mint cookies to go inside.

Place one tablespoon melted candy melt into one half of a mold and, using the bottom of your tablespoon measuring spoon, press the chocolate up the sides of the mold, keeping it thick but even. Repeat with twelve bomb mold halves.
Place the chocolate-filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes. This will help them set quickly.
Cut the Kit Kats in half.
Remove molds from the freezer and gently peel the silicone away from the chocolate, pushing the chocolate cups out of the mold. Be careful or they could break.
Fill six of the chocolate cups with one tablespoon hot chocolate mix, one-half stick of the Kit Kat candy, and 6-8 mini marshmallows.
Pipe a little melted chocolate on the rim’s edge then press one of the empty bomb shells on top, sealing the hot cocoa bomb closed. Next, pipe a little additional melted chocolate around the join line, then roll the hot cocoa bombs in the red sprinkles.
Using a piping bag or a fork, place a teaspoon of the remaining chocolate candy melts on top of the assembled hot cocoa bombs. Then immediately follow by placing an additional half stick piece of Kit Kat candy bar on this chocolate dab.
Place the hot cocoa bombs into the freezer for 5 minutes to get them to set, then remove and store in an airtight container until you’re ready to use. These will last up to 2 months.
