Summer is around the corner, and if you live in the Northeast, you are getting a preview of our future summer temperatures. Garden season is hopping, kids are getting their finals exams, pools are getting ready to open, and yet somehow our life will still be busier than before. A delicious, quick and easy steak iceberg garden salad is one of our favorite summer recipes for me.
As an expecting mother and a mom of 3, I have to make sure I take care of my family; and that means trying to incorporate weather, gardening, and keeping things simple and delicious when it comes to our meals. While the kids are out and about this summer with summer jobs, summer school programs, and taking care of a new baby; eating a quick and easy steak iceberg garden salad suits me just fine!
I mean BBQ season is on, and we love to BBQ in our home. Add a few Latin spices to the steak and you have a great tasting salad that you will notice. Just this week I was able to impress and convert a few family and friends with this quick and easy steak iceberg salad.
Since my garden is not all there yet, I was able to create this recipe very quickly and affordably instead of taking my family's offer of going out to eat. When I say the temperatures were high enough, it meant trying to find a nice cooling and refreshing meal and a steak salad was on order.
One thing I will mention is that a dressing makes the salad as well, and having a delicious and good quality dressing will definitely add to this recipe. I used Litehouse Homestyle Ranch and Chunky Bleu Cheese dressings in this recipe.
Litehouse has been one of my personal favorite dressings for years, Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing being one of my favorites. Not many of my family and friends have tried this brand because, as many of us have, we have grown up with room temperature dressing; when we go shop for dressing, we tend to go to the condiment aisle in our local grocery store without giving a thought that other refrigerated selections like Litehouse dressings are available.
My quick and easy steak salad taste even better when I add Litehouse dressings to it. It gives my salad a real fresh taste and makes my real food taste amazing when I add Litehouse dressing into it.
To find Litehouse dressing, simply head over to the nearest refrigerated section at your local supermarket and look for Homestyle Ranch and Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing. In case you didn’t know, Litehouse Inc is a leader in refrigerated salad dressing, veggie dips, sauces, and Instantly Fresh™ Herbs.
#SeeTheLite, just like this quick and easy steak iceberg salad changed many of my friends and family about how a great quality dressing makes my salad into a memorable and delicious meal; you will have a chance to enter my giveaway for a chance to win 2 coupons for FREE Litehouse products!
